NMMC-Tupelo’s Student Nurse Externship Program exposes student nurses to some of the
most advanced and sophisticated medical care available in Mississippi.

NMMC-Tupelo offers challenging and rewarding careers in health care. Our student nurse externs participate in an intensive week of classroom orientation and eight weeks of skills lab and scheduled work hours with an assigned preceptor.

You will also find something very unique: a chance to know patients by their first name, not just as a room number or a procedure.
