North Mississippi Health Services’ four nursing homes can offer a short-term stay as your recovery from illness or injury or a home for extended care.
Our facilities offer both short- and long-term care. Short-term care provides individuals with skilled services for up to 100 days before they are discharged to home or elsewhere. Long-term care provides a “home” to residents who require extended care.

Our nursing homes are staffed by teams of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care under the supervision of a physician director. Our social work and activity staff provide leisure and entertainment opportunities for residents. Our services include:

Ventilator Dependent Unit at Baldwyn Nursing Facility
For more than 25 years, the Baldwyn Nursing Facility team has cared for ventilator dependent patients. The Baldwyn facility became the first nursing home in the state licensed for ventilator care by the Mississippi State Department of Health in April 2024, allowing us to expand our program.
The 10-bed unit is staffed 24/7 by registered nurses and respiratory therapists. Enhancing quality of life for our ventilator dependent residents and their families is one of our top priorities.
