Senior Outpatient Counseling
Everyone feels down from time to time. If those feelings last more than a few weeks or months, you may be dealing with something more serious. While many seniors struggle with depression and anxiety, it is not a normal part of the aging process.
At our Outpatient Counseling and Senior Intensive Outpatient programs, everyone is treated with compassion, respect and confidentiality. Located on the historic North Mississippi Medical Center-Pontotoc campus, we support seniors through some of the struggles of life and aging in a safe, encouraging environment.
We offer transportation within a 30-mile radius to and from our programs. Each individual will be assessed to develop a personalized treatment plan.
The engaging open conversations are guided by a licensed therapist and teach new skills to support mental health wellness. Lunch and snacks are provided daily.
Qualified Outpatient Counseling participants may meet up to three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group therapy setting. These sessions allow participants the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of themselves and to create relationships with other people who may be facing similar challenges.
