NMHS offers breast cancer screening and care for other breast conditions at the NMMC Breast Care Center in Tupelo. 3D mammography offered at NMHS hospitals around the region.
Women over age 40 are encouraged to have a screening mammogram every year. NMHS has seven locations that provide convenient access to 3D mammography..

Our breast care services are anchored in Tupelo by the NMMC Breast Care Center, which is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center and is one of two breast programs recognized by the American College of Surgeons in Mississippi. In addition to 3-D mammography, the Breast Care Center offers:
Automated breast ultrasound
Tyrer-Cuzick analysis for breast cancer risk
Stereotactic breast biopsy
Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
Breast MRI (at Longtown Medical Imaging)
Care for breast cysts
Care for fibroadenoma, benign breast nodules
