Setting the Bar for Breast Care
The NMMC Breast Care Center has earned two national accreditations: National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center.
We go through a rigorous review process to ensure we meet national standards. From the American College of Radiology (ACR), we are accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center. Through the American College of Surgeons, we take part in the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
NAPBC Includes all providers who diagnose & care for patients with breast cancer at NMMC.-Tupelo
An expert team including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists & pathologists coordinate your care.
NAPBC requires breast cancer patients have Information about ongoing clinical trials & new options.
Reaccreditation required every three years.
