Summary

Learn how MyChart’s Hospital Stay Dashboard lets you view your care team, message providers, and read care notes during your inpatient stay.

Inpatient App Features: Accessing Your Care Team

If you’ve been admitted to one of our hospitals, your Hospital Stay Dashboard in myChart includes a general overview of your inpatient profile, which includes your care team.

By accessing these features, you’ll not only be able to message your providers but also will be able to view the notes from members of your care team as you move through your hospital stay.

Accessing Your Care Team

Within your hospital stay dashboard, one of the main banners will reference your care team. Here, your attending provider will always be listed. Beside his/her photo, you’ll have the option to “See All,” where other members of the care team, including nurses and other hospital staff, are listed.

By clicking on members of the care team, you’ll be able to view their profiles and send messages.

Your care team updates as shifts change.

Notes from Care Team

Your hospital stay dashboard also allows you to view notes from your care team. This feature is listed as “Notes from Care Team” in the menu items listed at the bottom of your hospital stay dashboard homepage.

Here, you can view the different notes left by each provider tracking your hospital stay. These notes vary but can include a general overview of your care plan, notes on your conditions and diagnosis and important progressions in your care. Please message or ask a member of your care team if you have any questions about the information found in this section.
