Katy McCully of Baldwyn doesn’t sugarcoat the weight loss journey.

“It isn’t easy,” she says, “but the good that comes from it outweighs the bad.”

Katy has lost 105 pounds since August 2021 when Dr. Will Cauthen performed her weight loss surgery at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Now that the weight is gone, so are her issues with high blood pressure, acid reflux and low energy. Her outlook is greatly improved too.

“I am more active. I love to go on walks now for pleasure,” she says. “I am more outgoing, and I enjoy my job more.” She’s also having fun shopping and sharing clothes with her daughters.
