Dr. Dwight McComb’s article on “Wagner Grading of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel Staging of Pressure Injuries: A Comparison for Clinical Use” has been published in the May issue of Advances in Skin and Wound Care. Dr. McComb serves as medical director of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Wound Center and Hyperbarics in Tupelo and NMMC Gilmore-Amory’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center.

Dr. McComb’s article, which includes a unique graphic he created to help it serve as both a learning resource and reference tool, compares the Wagner grading system and NPIAP staging system for assessing pressure injuries and ulcers.
