Proper wound care is important for healing, especially for people with diabetes. If your wound has not started to heal in two weeks or has not completely healed in six weeks, our Wound Care team can help.

Some wounds are difficult to heal. Our Wound Care teams in Tupelo and Amory create a personalized plan to speed wound healing so you can get back to doing the things you love.

Services We Provide

All services are provided by a licensed physician and a team of nurses, who are specially trained in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. We provide:

  • Comprehensive wound assessment

  • Patient & family education

  • Debridement

  • Ongoing wound treatment

  • Compression therapy

  • Photographic progress report

Conditions We Treat

Wound Center and Hyperbarics provides care for patients who have been referred by a primary care physician and do not need hospitalization, those who need ongoing treatment and education after discharge from the hospital, or by self-referral. We specialize in wounds caused by:

  • Diabetes

  • Poor circulation

  • Pressure

  • Infection

  • Surgery

  • Venous insufficiency

  • Trauma

  • Radiation damage

  • Bone infection

  • Burns

  • Other chronic wounds
