The North Mississippi Health Services Marketing Department recently received two Maggie Awards from the Mississippi Hospital Association.
NMHS won the awards for Website Produced Externally for www.nmhs.net/coronavirus-updates, which has provided timely updates throughout the pandemic, and Logo Design Produced In-House for icons to illustrate the health care system’s mission, vision and values.
The Maggie Award is the highest award presented by the hospital association and recognizes excellence in the field of health care marketing and public relations in Mississippi. The name Maggie is derived from the state flower, the Magnolia.
The awards, sponsored by MHA’s Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations, had more than 100 entries. The society advances the development of effective marketing and public relations in hospitals, health systems and other health care related fields.
