THS Crochet Club Donates to NICU
Members of Golden Wave Crochets at Tupelo High School recently donated 25 handmade baby blankets and four sets of handmade hats and booties to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the North Mississippi Medical Center Women’s Hospital. Pauline Gan Lim, a THS senior and president of Golden Wave Crochets, and Katie Krauss, THS teacher and club sponsor, (along with her daughter, Ellarose) presented the items to Ellen Friloux, vice president of NMMC Women and Children’s Services. Launched this school year, Golden Wave Crochets boasts around 90 members. Anyone who wishes to donate yarn for projects such as this may email krkrauss@tupeloschools.com.
