NMMC-Tupelo Welcomes Dr. Schneider to Orthopedic Trauma Team
TUPELO, Mississippi – North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo is proud to announce that Jonathan Schneider, DO, is joining the Orthopedic Trauma Clinic.
Dr. Schneider is a 2006 graduate of Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. After graduation, he attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate degree. He earned his medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Larkin Community Hospital Orthopedic Surgery Center in Miami. He completed his fellowship training in orthopedic trauma at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Schneider says he loves fixing things with his hands. “I am fascinated with the human body and our musculoskeletal system anatomy,” Dr. Schneider says. “Orthopedic trauma was a natural fit for me, and I enjoy providing high level orthopedic trauma care to our patients for their extremity injuries and fractures. I chose a career in health so I could provide this orthopedic trauma care to our local patients even with the most complex extremity injuries.”
Dr. Schneiders’ hobbies include traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, disc golf and spending time with family.
Dr. Schneider and his wife have three children.
