Dr. White Returns to North Mississippi Neurosurgical Services
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Neurosurgical Services announces that board-certified neurosurgeon Elbert White IV, MD, has rejoined their practice.
Dr. White was affiliated with North Mississippi Neurosurgical Services from 2005-2017, when he relocated to Portland, Maine. He recently moved back to Tupelo to practice alongside neurosurgeons Dr. Carl Bevering, Dr. Juan Martin, Dr. Louis Rosa, Dr. Jason Stacy and Dr. John Winestone, as well as eight nurse practitioners and a physician assistant. He specializes in brain and spine disorders with a special interest in geriatric spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.
A Corinth native, Dr. White earned a bachelor’s degree from Millsaps College in Jackson before completing his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 1998.
Dr. White completed residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veterans Administration Hospital, both in Jackson, and served as chief resident in neurosurgery.
