Biography
Leita Stark, FNP-BC, says says she chose health care because she wanted to be able to give something back to humankind.
“Helping patients get a clear understanding of their health and their plan of care is one way of achieving this. I like what I do for a living and don’t feel like I’m going to a job every day – I’m going to do something I enjoy,” she says.
Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. She loves to travel and spend as much time as possible outdoors, whether it’s doing yard work or other activity. Her most recent passion is fly fishing.
Stark says she chose Fulton Medical Clinic because she wanted to be a team member in an organization that is continually striving to deliver excellent health care.
Stark received an associate degree from Itawamba Community College. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. Stark received her nurse practitioner’s certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
