Biography
Dr. Schneider is fellowship trained and board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He takes a holistic approach to patient care, recognizing that all body systems are interconnected and that the musculoskeletal system is especially important to the well-being and quality of life. Dr. Schneider is a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association and provides local orthopedic trauma coverage at North Mississippi Medical Center. He cares for both adult and pediatric patients with complex pelvic and acetabular trauma, upper and lower extremity fractures, and hip and shoulder joint replacement surgery.
After completing a residency in orthopedic surgery at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Dr. Schneider completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at University of Oklahoma in Tulsa. Dr. Schneider studied medicine at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He obtained a bachelor's degree in health science and a bachelor's degree in business and communication from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
In his free time, Dr. Schneider enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
