About Me
Dr. Ellis earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Mississippi State University in Starkville in 1987 and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 1991. He completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in interventional radiology at UMMC and St. Dominic Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
He and his wife, Leah Bell Ellis, are both Starkville natives. They have three children. In his free time, Dr. Ellis enjoys bicycling and saltwater fishing. He also enjoys playing guitar with his band, Bouncing Betty, which plays primarily 80s and 90s rock. The Ellises are members of Hope Community Church in Columbus.
