Student Orientation

Welcome to North Mississippi Health Services. We look forward to working with you during your student experience with us. NMHS and its affiliates partner with more than 400 clinical programs across the United States. The orientation resources and paperwork are all available on this website. Of those 400 program agreements, more than 200 of those are from 18 different colleges in Mississippi for 33 different types of programs, including, but not limited to, Nursing, Respiratory, EMT, Pharmacy and Physical Therapy Assistants. More than 2,000 students complete their student rotations at an NMHS location each year.

Clinical Students

Clinical students are required to complete the Student Profile Checklist and return along with the items on the checklist to the Student Experience Navigator at capolson@nmhs.net.

If you are enrolled in a clinical program and your experience with us is a requirement for the program, you will first need to confirm with your school that there is a clinical program affiliation agreement in place. If not, have a representative from your school or your potential preceptor contact the Student Experience Navigator at capolson@nmhs.net.
