New Employee Orientation

NMHS’ New Employee Orientation marks the start of your new journey with us! This immersive day and a half are spent with leaders and other influential teammates across our system to introduce you to our culture. Upon completion of New Employee Orientation, you will complete a personalized departmental orientation in your new work area with your leader, preceptor or designated teammate.

Tuition Assistance Program

NMHS’ Tuition Assistance Program helps empower teammates to pursue higher education. Public Student Loan Forgiveness options are also available through the program.

Continuing Education

NMHS offers a variety of approved CE programs to NMHS teammates, which are provided on a variety of topics appropriate for your area of expertise. Continuing education programs are provided through live classes, conferences, computer-based training, and the comprehensive, online HealthStream® Learning Center. Along with clinical training, a variety of professional leadership development, teamwork, communication, computer training and other personal skill courses are offered for the continued growth of all our teammates.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The NMHS CME Program identifies educational needs and intended results that support the NMHS mission, vision and values. CME initiates ways to help area physicians improve their knowledge base and skill set by offering high quality continuing medical education locally. The primary focus is on delivery of outcomes-driven, multiple hour activities that involve an interdisciplinary approach to disease process management.
