North Mississippi Health Services is proud to announce the opening of South Oxford Medical Clinic, expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families in the Oxford community.
OXFORD, Miss. —North Mississippi Health Services is proud to announce the opening of South Oxford Medical Clinic, expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families in the Oxford community.
Located at 2888 S. Lamar Blvd., South Oxford Medical Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers comprehensive primary care services focused on building lasting relationships and supporting long-term health.
“Expanding access to care in growing communities like Oxford is an important part of our mission,” said David Barber, president of North Mississippi Medical Clinics. “South Oxford Medical Clinic allows us to better serve patients of all ages with convenient, high-quality care close to home.”
South Oxford Medical Clinic is staffed by two experienced physicians, Dr. Shaun Helmhout and Dr. Samuel Holdiness, who are committed to providing compassionate, personalized care.
Dr. Helmhout brings more than two decades of experience in family medicine along with a passion for building long-term relationships with patients and their families. She earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis and completed her residency at St. Francis Family Medicine Residency in Memphis.
Dr. Holdiness, a native of Kosciusko, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 2006. He completed medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and went on to finish his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina.
