TUPELO, Mississippi —North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome Dr. Kristie Nowak to Garfield Clinic.

Dr. Nowak brings a strong educational background and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She earned her undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento and completed medical school at Georgetown University. She went on to complete her residency at George Washington University and further specialized her training with a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.

“I chose a career in health care because of the intellectual stimulation it provides, along with the opportunity to continually learn and grow while caring for others,” Dr. Nowak said.

At Garfield Clinic, Dr. Nowak looks forward to building meaningful connections within the care team and the community.

“I am excited to establish strong working relationships with my colleagues and be part of a team that is focused on delivering excellent care,” she said.

Outside of work, Dr. Nowak enjoys exercising, running, traveling and caring for rescue cats. She and her husband, Matt McKeegan, enjoy spending time together and exploring new places.
