WINFIELD, Alabama—Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi is opening a new clinic in Winfield in July to serve area individuals with heart disease.

Dr. Dane Ballard will see patients at Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi-South Marion, located at 255 Medical Drive, Suite 4, Winfield, on the campus of North Mississippi Health Services-South Marion. To make an appointment, call (662) 620-6800.

Dr. Ballard, who has practiced with Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi since 2018, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Mississippi State University. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2011. He completed cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2017. 

Dr. Ballard is board certified in cardiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology. 

In addition to the new Winfield clinic, Cardiology Associates offers locations in Tupelo, Columbus, Corinth, Oxford and Starkville.
