TUPELO, Mississippi - Michael Gipson, M.D., is changing his role at Barnes Crossing Medical Clinic and Urgent Care.

Dr. Gipson has been part of the Barnes Crossing Medical Clinic team seeing patients on the urgent care side. But now he is serving your primary care needs.

“I’m excited to be moving to the primary care side of Barnes Crossing Medical Clinic and seeing patients there,” Dr. Gipson said.

He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. Gipson completed his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, and his residency training at the University of Mississippi Family Medicine Residency Program.

“As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a doctor,” he says. “God blessed me with talent for science and math and also a great love for people. Medicine afforded me an opportunity to use my talents to serve others.”

Dr. Gipson’s hobbies include reading, spending time with his wife and children, and his church activities.
