OKOLONA, Mississippi – North Mississippi Medical Clinics recently named Amy West, practice manager, as the Star of the Month.

Amy joined North Mississippi Health Services in 2020 as the practice manager at Okolona Medical Clinic and Garfield Medical Clinic.

“Amy believes in her team, and she strives for them to be the best. She is a positive influence and a smiling face regardless of when you see her,” one of her coworkers wrote in nominating her. “She is a listening ear and a kind face whether the interaction be with employees or patients. She is the best manager. She is a star every day for us!”

Amy is a graduate of Tupelo High School and Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She and her husband, Scotty, have two children and two grandchildren. They attend First Baptist Church in Plantersville.

“I see God’s hand guiding me daily at my clinics,” Amy said. “I pray for my team and my patients. God led me to NMMC and I’m blessed every day.”
