North Mississippi Medical Center welcomes several new nurse practitioner fellows as part of NMMC’s Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship.

TUPELO, Mississippi – North Mississippi Medical Center welcomes several new nurse practitioner fellows as part of NMMC’s Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship. The program is open to a nurse practitioner within 18 months of graduation from an accredited program. A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse who is trained to assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnose disease, and formulate and prescribe treatment plans. New APC fellows include:

Claire Harrelson

• Claire Harrelson, FNP-C, of Saltillo. Harrelson joined the NMMC staff in 1998 after earning her associate degree from Itawamba Community College in Fulton. She received her master’s degree from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She began her career as a staff nurse before transferring to the Heartburn Center of Mississippi, here she worked as the nurse coordinator and educator. She and her husband, Jason, have four children, Ethen, Gabriel, Mary Ellis and Everly and attend First United Methodist Church in Saltillo.

Bonnie Jones

• Bonnie Jones, FNP-C, of Amory. Jones joined the NMMC staff in 2022 after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She received her master’s degree from Walden University in Minneapolis and became a hospice nurse. She and her son, Zander, attend New Center Point Free Will Baptist Church in Amory.

Donnie Lovell

• Donnie Lovell, FNP-BC, of Rienzi. Lovell joined the NMMC staff in 2021 after earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. He and his wife, Lydia, have four children-Andrew, Benjamin, Ana Ruth and Juleigh. They attend Wheeler Grove Baptist Church in Corinth.

 

Leah Nablors

• Leah Nabors, FNP-BC, of Booneville. Nabors joined the NMMC staff in 2020 after earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She and her husband, Robert, have two sons, Ryker and Quinn. They attend Thrasher Baptist Church in Booneville.

Farelon Randle

• Farelon Randle, FNP-C, of Tupelo. Randle joined the NMMC staff in 2017 after earning her associate degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She began her work at NMMC-Tupelo in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit before earning her master’s degree from UAB. She has a fur-baby named Zek and attends Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville.

Jade Sullivan

• Jade Sullivan, FNP-BC, of Tupelo. Sullivan joined the NMMC staff in 2016 after earning her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She worked as a registered nurse on 3 Central and at Outpatient Infusion Oncology before she received her master’s degree in 2022 from MUW. She and her husband have one child, Loftan. They attend The Orchard church in Tupelo.
