“Angela loves our residents,” a coworker wrote in her nomination. “She always takes time to visit with them. She really shows them how much she cares.” Coworkers noted how much the residents enjoy the activities Bishop plans for them.

She was also cited as a “team player” who willingly helps in other departments, including working many shifts and weekends in Food and Nutrition Services. “I am happy to have Angela on our team,” one coworker wrote. “She is compassionate and kind to everyone. Angela is the best.”

Bishop joined the North Mississippi Health Services staff in 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Montevallo in Alabama and a master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University.
