In nominating Lucas for the award, coworkers wrote, “Dadra is a great ER nurse. She is compassionate and very capable. I would want Dadra in the ER if I was a patient.” Others commend her as dependable and competent. “She takes time to listen to her patients,” another wrote. “She truly cares.”
A graduate of Marion County High School, Lucas received her licensed practical nurse training in 1991 from Northwest Technical College in Hamilton. She earned her associate degree in nursing in 1995 from Northwest-Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum and CPR.
