TUPELO, Mississippi—IMA-Tupelo welcomes Bailey Hansen, M.D., to the staff.

Dr. Hansen will be practicing internal medicine and pediatrics at IMA. He will also be on the medical staff at North Mississippi Medical Center.

Dr. Hansen earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Mississippi State University before attending medical school at University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He recently completed residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 2021.

During his residency, Dr. Hansen nurtured an interest in medical education and training while serving on the board of the National Med-Peds Resident Association. He also served as the inaugural chief resident after graduation in 2022.

The Jackson native looks forward to beginning his practice in north Mississippi. He is the son of Nick and Beth Hansen of Jackson.
