SALTILLO, Mississippi – Saltillo Medical Clinic welcomes Tyler Crosswhite, M.D.

Dr. Crosswhite is a recent graduate of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as chief administrative resident.  He earned his bachelor’s degree at Freed-Hardeman University in 2015 and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2019.

The Saltillo resident is no stranger to north Mississippi or the medical field. A native of Tupelo, Dr. Crosswhite is the fourth member of his immediate family to join the North Mississippi Health Services staff. His father, Ronnie, joined the NMMC staff in 1982 and served as a pharmacist for nearly 40 years. His brother, Brad, is a physician at IMA-Tupelo, and his sister, Megan, is a pharmacist at NMMC’s Outpatient Infusion.

Dr. Crosswhite says he is eager to get started at Saltillo Medical Clinic. “I am very excited and thankful to be joining Saltillo Medical Clinic!” Dr. Crosswhite says. “Growing up in Tupelo, I have a special connection to the area. I hope to serve Saltillo for years to come, and I look forward to providing comprehensive care to this community.”

Dr. Crosswhite resides in Saltillo and enjoys family time with his wife, Maryn, and young son, Jenson.

Dr. Crosswhite joins Drs. Richmond McCarty and Marcus Ueltschey and will begin seeing patients Aug. 1.
