OKOLONA, Mississippi—North Mississippi Medical Clinics recently named Caroline Blankenship, CLPN, as the Star of the Month.
Caroline Blankenship joined North Mississippi Health Services in 2020, serving as a licensed practical nurse at West Point Women’s Group before joining Okolona Medical Clinic in June 2021.
Her coworkers lauded her compassionate manner with patients and her attention to the details needed to make sure patients get the care they need and the clinic functions smoothly.
“She has a great work ethic and a willingness to do what needs to be done,” one of her wrote in nominating her. “She is a fantastic nurse, but she is an even better person.”
Blankenship is a graduate of Houston High School and Itawamba Community College in Fulton.
“My favorite thing about my job is building true relationships with the patients and teammates,” Blankenship said. “When patients come in, call you by name and are excited to see you, you know you’ve made an impact.”
For Blankenship, her colleagues at Okolona Medical Clinic are a “dream team.”
“It’s rewarding to watch my coworkers interact with patients in the same loving and caring way they interact with me and our other coworkers,” she said.
