TUPELO, Mississippi—Jonathan Blossom, M.D., recently joined Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi and the medical staff of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Heart and Vascular Institute.

Dr. Blossom recently completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2015. He completed residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018 and a cardiovascular diseases fellowship there in 2021.

Dr. Blossom graduated from Mississippi College in Clinton with a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences in 2010. A native of Forest, Dr. Blossom is the brother of cardiologist Benjamin Blossom, M.D., who joined Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi and NMMC medical staff in 2010.

Dr. Blossom is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians, where he formerly served as Residency Council Representative.

He and his wife, Mary Catherine, have three young sons, Jack, Henry and Theo.
