BOONEVILLE, Mississippi – Booneville Medical Clinic and Urgent Care welcomes Dr. Forrest Lyon to the staff in August.

Dr. Lyon is a graduate of the North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

“I am excited to be joining a trusted and reliable clinical team that already has a reputation for providing excellent care to the people of Booneville,” says Dr. Lyon. “I feel very blessed to be a part of this community and look forward to providing compassionate medical care to this area for many years to come.”

Dr. Lyon played rugby in college and spent many years as a gymnast and gymnastics coach. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being outdoors.

He will join Drs. John Browning, Luke Campbell, Erik Dukes, Christopher Reynolds, Michael Thompson and nurse practitioners, Bethany Cummings, Ginger McMillan-Buchanan and Rebekah Smith.
