NMMC-Pontotoc Names Dodds and Lindsey to All Star Team for 2021
Two Pontotoc residents have been named to North Mississippi Medical Center’s All Star Team for 2021.

TUPELO, Miss.— Two Pontotoc residents have been named to North Mississippi Medical Center’s All Star Team for 2021.
Leslie Dodds, case manager at NMMC-Pontotoc; and Melissa Lindsey, pharmacy director at NMMC-Pontotoc, were recognized by NMMC’s Stars Online program for outstanding performance throughout the year.
NMMC launched the Stars Online program in 1999 to recognize employees who exhibit extraordinary care and concern for their patients, customers and coworkers. The All Stars were honored at a virtual event on July 8.
Dodds joined the NMMC staff in 2000 on 4 East at NMMC-Tupelo. She transferred to NMMC-Pontotoc in 2005 and now works in Case Management. She is a graduate of South Pontotoc High School and she earned her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus.
“I enjoy helping patients get the care they need,” Dodds said. “I enjoy that I am a patient advocate, ensuring patient-centered care for communities we serve.”
Lindsey joined the NMMC staff in 1990. She is a graduate of Hatley High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
Lindsey said the best part of her job is, “the opportunity to positively impact the health care of our area.”
She and her husband, Keith, have five children – Matthew, Adam and Blake Guntharp, Anna Garner and Rachel Davis. They attend West Heights Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
