Ambetter Members in North Mississippi Receive High-Quality Care

Tupelo, Mississippi– North Mississippi Health Services signed an agreement with Ambetter from Magnolia Health (Ambetter) to ensure Ambetter members in northeast Mississippi have in-network access to NMHS providers and facilities.

The agreement connects Ambetter from Magnolia Health, which offers the state's leading Health Insurance Marketplace plans, with the award-winning North Mississippi Medical Center, the flagship hospital for the North Mississippi Health Services (NMHS) system. North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo is the only Level 2 trauma center in north Mississippi and offers access to approximately 50 medical specialties. NMMC hospitals in Amory, Eupora, Iuka, Pontotoc and West Point, along with North Mississippi Medical Clinics in Mississippi, are in-network providers as well. NMHS locations in Alabama are not included in the Mississippi plan.

Mississippi counties included in this agreement are Alcorn, Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Lowndes, Marshall, Monroe, Oktibbeha, Pontotoc, Prentis, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, Webster and Yalobusha.
