TUPELO, Miss.— Two Lee County residents have been named to North Mississippi Medical Center’s All Star Team for 2021.

Bridget Logan, LPN at Chickasaw Medical Clinic and Rhonda Weaver, manager of Volunteer Services at NMMC-Tupelo were recognized by NMMC’s Stars Online program for outstanding performance throughout the year.

NMMC launched the Stars Online program in 1999 to recognize employees who exhibit extraordinary care and concern for their patients, customers and coworkers. The All Stars were honored at a virtual event on July 8.

Logan joined the NMMC staff in 2011. Before joining the Chickasaw Medical Clinic, she was a float nurse for North Mississippi Health Services.

She is a graduate of Vardaman High School and received her LPN training at Northwest Community College in 2004.

“The best part of my job is the patients,” Logan says. “I love my connection with them. We cheer together in good results, laugh together, and at times we cry together. We must always remember the patients are who we are here for.”

Bridget and her husband, Logan, have three sons – Landon, Layton and Lanson. They attend Reedy’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Weaver joined the NMMC staff in 2017.  She is a graduate of Shannon High School and attended Itawamba Community College and the University of Mississippi.

“What I love most about my job is working with all the people I see daily,” Weaver says. “I like knowing that I can reach out and truly make a difference in someone’s life.”

She and her husband, Steve, have two children, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. They attend Lafayette Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Oxford, where Steve is the pastor.
