AMORY, Miss.— Stacy Heineman, RN has been selected by her peers as North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmore-Amory Surgery Department’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.

Heineman joined the NMMC Gilmore-Amory staff in 2018. Originally from Arizona, she is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she earned her nursing degree. 

She and her husband, Troy, have three daughters and eight grandchildren that she says, “the sun rises and sets on.”

“What I love most about my job is taking care of vulnerable patients and families,” Heineman says, “We do this every day, but patients and families do not. They need comfort, reassurance, skill and knowledge to feel better about their current situation. A smile is universal.”

In her nomination, Heineman’s co-worker wrote, “Stacy is a fantastic nurse and a great co-worker.” Another colleague wrote, “Stacy takes fantastic care of her patients and she treats everyone with respect and compassion.”
