TUPELO, Mississippi – North Mississippi Health Services recently named Gary Tedford the new system Director of Medical Imaging.

Tedford joins the NMHS staff with over 20 years of experience in radiology services in north Mississippi.

We appreciate his leadership and expertise as we continue our journey to make sure patients and their families get the best care – everywhere, every time,” said Domingo Valpuesta, Vice President of Oncology, Diagnostic Radiology and Pharmacy Services at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo.

Tedford, of New Albany, started his career at NMMC-Tupelo as an MRI technologist in 1994. Before entering the medical field, he served as a soldier in the United States Army. Tedford earned his associate degree from Itawamba Community College in Fulton and his bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

During his time off, Tedford enjoys playing golf and is an active member at his church.
