Dermatology Center of North Mississippi, P.A., announces the association of dermatologist Ira Harber, M.D., and the opening of a new clinic in Corinth on July 12.TUPELO, Miss.—Dermatology Center of North Mississippi, P.A., announces the association of dermatologist Ira Harber, M.D., and the opening of a new clinic in Corinth on July 12.
Dr. Harber will practice at the new location, 100 Norman Road, Corinth. For an appointment, call (662) 844-6272 or 1-800-THE DESK (1-800-843-3375). He joins Dr. Jeffrey Houin, Dr. Bradley Greenhaw and physician assistant Jennifer Stone, who practice at the Tupelo location.
An Iuka native, Dr. Harber graduated from Tishomingo County High School in 2008. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2012 from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where he served as an Associated Student Body Senator. He was an Ole Miss First Scholar and was selected for inclusion in the school’s Order of Omega chapter for outstanding leadership.
He graduated from medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson in 2017 and served as class treasurer. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2018 and completed his residency with UMMC Department of Dermatology this year.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association and Mississippi State Medical Association, as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society.
Dr. Harber serves as a reviewer for the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology. For the past year, he has been involved with the American Academy of Dermatology’s Question of the Week series. He enjoys restoring automobiles, home improvement projects, trivia, cooking and golf. He and his wife, Alli (also from Iuka) have a daughter, Georgia.
