Jan Carter, RN, of NMMC-Tupelo’s 3 South recently retired after 26 years of providing loving patient care and mentoring new nurses. Coworkers honored Jan with a reception April 27, and her family was able to participate in her special day – some in person and others via FaceTime. “It’s been such a blessing to have a nurse with such a caring heart and so many years of nursing experience on our team,” says Megan Hastings, 3 South nurse manager. “Thank you, Jan, for everything. Best wishes for an amazing retirement.” Jan loves to read and care for others—and chocolate!
