BOONEVILLE, Mississippi – Booneville Medical Clinic and Urgent Care welcome Michael Thompson, M.D., to the clinic. 

Dr. Thompson recently completed residency training at the North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Center in Tupelo, where he served as administrative chief resident. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from Mississippi State University in Starkville. He completed his medical degree at University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson.

Dr. Thompson, a native of Booneville, graduated from Wheeler High School. He and his wife, Haley Moore Thompson, have a 1-year-old son named Easton.

Booneville Medical Clinic and Urgent Care are located at 1301 N. Second St. in Booneville. The medical clinic is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The urgent care is open from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m.-6:45 p.m. on Saturdays and noon-5:45 p.m. on Sundays.
