Lab Services

North Mississippi Medical Center Pathology Department performs testing services on both inpatients and outpatients of all ages for diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation at all of our hospital locations. NMMC-Tupelo's Pathology Department also provides reference laboratory services to hospitals, clinics and physician offices in northeast Mississippi and northwest Alabama.

Staff Qualifications

NMMC Medical Staff Pathologists are board certified by the American Board of Pathology. The pathologists perform anatomic, cytologic and clinical interpretations and consultations. The Pathology Technical staff is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Customer Services

NMMC's Pathology Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Labcorp

Labcorp is now the performing and billing laboratory for most North Mississippi Health Services diagnostic testing across north Mississippi and northwest Alabama.

Visit Labcorp’s patient service center locator to find a location near you and make an appointment (walk-ins are also welcome). When you arrive at a Labcorp patient service center, please be sure to bring a photo ID, insurance card and form of payment.
