Cynthia Ruth Smith, ACNP

Acute care nurse practitioner Cindy Smith, ACNP, is a 1997 graduate of Tishomingo County High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi in 2001 and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2005. She completed her master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner training in 2012 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

At the Rehabilitation Institute, Cindy cares for patients recovering from illness, injury or surgery as they work toward greater independence.
