About Me
Dr. Gabriel Rulewicz specializes in treating sports injuries and shoulder problems. He graduated from Birmingham-Southern College before attending medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson.
He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed a felllowship in sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas. His special interest include sports medicine, arthroscopy and reconstruction of the shoulder and knee, as well as shoulder replacement. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and an AO-ASIF trauma fellowship in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Dr. Rulewicz served four years of active duty in the Air Force and nine years in the reserves. At Eglin Air Force Base, he served as the orthopedic PA fellowship director.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds subspeciality certification in sports medicine.

A Tupelo native, he returned home to practice orthopaedic surgery in 2012. He enjoys spending time with family, serving at church, playing sports and going to antique sales.
