About Me
Dr. Amit Correa is a hematologist oncologist at North Mississippi Medical Center Hematology Oncology in Tupelo.
Dr. Correa joined North Mississippi Health Services Cancer Care in 2023.
He graduated from St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, India. He completed residency at Mount Sinai Hospital West in New York City. He completed a medical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston and a hematology oncology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
He also served as an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and adjunct assistant professor in clinical medicine at the University of Texas Medical Brand in Galveston. .
He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
