Nicole Elise Carden, MD
About Me
Dr. Nicole Carden is a 2004 graduate of South Panola High School and graduated from Delta State University in 2008. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2014 and completed her residency in pediatrics in 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Before joining the NMHS staff in 2026, she practiced for several years in Hattiesburg and Petal.
"I chose a career in medicine because I’ve always been interested in how the human body works and driven by a commitment to serving others,” Dr. Carden said.
She chose pediatrics for the patients. “There is something truly inspiring about a child’s resilience and honesty,” she added. “I consider it an honor to partner with families, helping their children to grow into healthy and happy adults.”
Outside of work, she enjoys all sorts of crafting, spending time with family and friends and traveling.
Connected Care Partners is a group of health care providers working for and with North Mississippi Health Services to improve patient care.
