Wellness Center Celebrates 35^th Anniversary with Free Community Event

TUPELO, Mississippi—The staff of North Mississippi Medical Center’s Wellness Center invites area residents to join in the facility’s 35^th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 1030 S. Madison St.

Several free events are planned:

• Vision Screening with Cheri Harbour, occupational therapist with the North Mississippi Retina Center, from 9-11 a.m.         
• Bone health discussion with Amy Ballard of NMMC Orthopaedic Trauma at 9:30 a.m.
• Healthy snacks discussion with registered dietitian Emily Littlejohn at 10:15 a.m.                             
• Skin cancer screenings with dermatologist Dr. Clayton Parker of North Mississippi Dermatology Consultants from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Stretching fundamentals with massage therapist Evan Gault at 11 a.m.
• Bingo from 11 a.m.-noon

Free guest passes will be available Sept. 17. Several door prizes will be awarded.
