NMMC-Eupora Presents Scholarships
EUPORA, Mississippi—North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora recently presented health career scholarships to three Webster County graduates.
Neelie Dillinger, a recent graduate of Eupora High School, was accepted into the early entry pharmacy program at the University of Mississippi. She was a member of the Eupora Juniorettes and National Honor Society, served as parliamentarian of Future Business Leaders of America and represented her class on the Student Council. She was voted Most Likely to Succeed by her peers, selected as STAR student and Rotary student of the month and is a Luckyday Scholar.
Jack Brown of Mathiston, a recent graduate of East Webster High School, is studying radiologic technology at Itawamba Community College. He was president of Interact Club, served on Student Council and was a page in the Mississippi House of Representatives. He played varsity football, basketball and golf, as well as served on the youth leadership team at First Baptist Church in Mathiston.
Cliff Jernigan, a recent graduate of Eupora High School, received the Harold Whitaker Scholarship. He is attending Copiah-Lincoln Community College and aspires to a career in medicine. He was valedictorian of his class and served as drum major. He was honored for Most Inspiration on the cross country team and won the Tennis Sportsmanship Award.
