Healogics® Honors NMMC Wound Center & Hyperbarics

TUPELO, Mississippi—North Mississippi Medical Center Wound Center and Hyperbarics has recently been accepted into the Healogics® Open Doors Club.

Healogics®, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services, awarded the recognition based on growth, patient access, performance management and leadership. The NMMC program averages more than 100 new patients each month and had nearly 11,000 patient visits this year.

Healogics® commended the team for consistently looking for ways to see patients sooner, including extending hours in the morning and evening. This year, the average wait time to get an appointment was less than two days.

North Mississippi Medical Center wound centers in Tupelo and Amory help prevent and treat wound complications by performing wound assessments and establishing a plan of care for wounds that are difficult to heal.
