Hospital PAT Team Walks to End Alzheimer’s
North Mississippi Medical Center's Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) department participated in the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer's at Ballard Park in Tupelo on Sept. 17. The team surpassed their fundraising goal by raising $1,250 for Alzheimer's research.
The PAT department looks forward to the annual event and invites others to join them to help increase awareness and support finding a cure for this debilitating disease, all while building teamwork and camaraderie. For the first time since yearly walks began, the North Mississippi district exceeded its goal and raised $59,417. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. NMMC helps sponsor the local event.
