Beane Joins Breast & General Surgery Clinic
TUPELO, Mississippi—North Mississippi Medical Center’s Breast and General Surgery Clinic announces the addition of Mylie Kate Beane, FNP-C, of Fulton to the medical staff.
Beane joins breast and general surgeon Danny L. Sanders, M.D., at the clinic, which is located at Midtown Pointe. For an appointment, call (662) 377-8025 or 1-800-THE DESK (1-800-843-3375). She will be seeing clinic patients alongside Dr. Sanders, as well as assisting him in surgery.
She joined the NMMC staff in 2017 as a nurse in Surgical Services. A 2012 graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School, Beane completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program at Itawamba Community College before earning her associate’s degree in nursing from ICC and becoming a registered nurse. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus and her master’s degree and family nurse practitioner training at the University of North Alabama in Florence.
Beane has been training alongside Dr. Sanders since December 2021 and graduated from NMMC’s Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship in September. She became a Registered Nurse First Assist after training at the National Institute of First Assisting in Centennial, Colorado, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing practice from Samford University in Birmingham.
Beane is a member of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners, Mississippi Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She attends East Fulton Baptist Church and is actively involved in her community. She enjoys exercising, running, playing with her three fur babies, attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
