North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Selects Employee of the Year

North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton recently named Tina Taylor, certified nursing assistant in the nursing home, as the Employee of the Year.

Taylor joined the nursing home staff in 2011, and is a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School.

“Tina is so special – she cares for our residents like they were family,” said a coworker who nominated Taylor. “She is kind to everyone she meets and always cares for our residents with love and respect. She is a great teammate and you can rely on her to help you whenever needed.”

Taylor says the best part of her job is taking care of the residents. “I just love them,” she says. “Sometimes we are all that they have and I want them to know that I love them.”

Taylor and her husband, Jason, have two sons – 27-year-old Adam and 17-year-old Zachary.

She attends Cherryhill Church of Christ, where her husband serves as pastor.

The Employee of the Quarter honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
